This part does not screw into the 5 way union like the original unit. Remove old restrictor valve, and pipe from the master cylinder. Cut the pipe near the top where it becomes vertical and add a female connector to each cut end. Screw the supplied adaptors firmly (do not overtighten) into valve and then connect this unit to the new female ends with the end marked MC uppermost.
