“DUNLOP” brakes systems have been manufactured in the UK for 60 years, originally by Dunlop Aviation and then by Girling.  The original production, bespoke assembly and testing machines and equipment, with all the original tooling was taken over by an established UK brake manufacturing company. They have carried the mantle for the outstanding tradition of excellence for more than of 40 years.

Manufacturing to the original high tolerances, half a thousandth of an inch, for some of the specialist parts of the assembly. Testing to the exacting requirements of vacuum and pressure to the original specifications for these safety critical assemblies. Thus, enabling the pad to stay within the design criteria of five thousandths on an inch from the brake disc.
